TaDaaah! It's tha Gingerbread Girl!
 Ginger is our rambunctious & affectionate scottie girl!

We adopted Ginger from Scottie Rescue in May of 2000.
Ginger was only 6 months old at the time and had been a Christmas present to a family with small children.
After 3 months the family decided to give Ginger to Scottie Rescue.

Tha Gingerbread Girl is also the model for our "scottie days of summer" t-shirt!

Tas Ginsberg MacGregor
Tha Tasmeister, (our Scottie Ottoman), is a stocky little fellow with a heart the size of Texas.

Tas was diagnosed with bladder cancer (TCC) in Dec. 2001.  For more information about Tas' treatment click here.
Our brave boyee lost his battle against cancer on January 2nd, 2004.  We love and miss you Tas.

Our sweet and feisty girl, Tora Tory!
Tory is a senior scottie with special needs. She has IBD and a long history with rectal prolapses.
Despite her medical issues, she is full of energy and an absolute diva. Tory rules our house and keeps Tha Howlers on their toes!

My sweet Tory went into renal failure on 4/20/06 and despite our best efforts
 she crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, April 27, 2006. 
Tory was only with us for 3 years, but they were 3 very special years.
She was my little co-pilot and constant companion.  Tory was approximately 13 years old when she left us.
Meet Fritz!
Fritz is a big, sweet, laid back scottie fellow with a loving personality.
Another sweet rescue with chronic health issues.
Fritz has canine epilepsy and takes potassium bromide and phenobarbital to control his seizures.
His seizures were not controlled when he was younger and as a result he has grand mal & cluster seizures,
making him somewhat resistant to the meds. We are trying to wean him off the phenobarbital but it is
not an easy switch and he will probably need to continue taking both medications.
Fritz also takes medication for thyroid disease, along with supplements to boost his immune system.
He later developed a serious and rare liver disease called Hepatocutaneous Syndrome.
